About the Collectible

This unique collectible features the specially designed 9-11 10th Year Anniversary medallion coin created by EKTIMIS to mark and commemorate the 10th year anniversary of a landmark event in US history. The medallion design illustrates the World Trade Center towers in the background, with an American eagle hovering while holding on to a stem of rose in the foreground.

The single stem of rose represents and memorializes the lives lost on September 11, 2001. The eagle symbolizes American strength and will to protect our freedom, while the World Trade Center twin towers depict the landmark where American course of history was forever changed.

This masterpiece is one of a total of three specially commissioned works created by EKTIMIS to commemorate the 10th year anniversary of 9-11.
